Besides the usual UI work, I also had a chance to collaborate with both the Concept and Environment Art teams to create signage for the Abandoned City; a unique locale featured in the XCOM 2 expansion.
My tasks were to create interesting background posters, menus, signage, and much more to flesh out the world. The main challenge with this one, was having to use greeked text that would not be legible.
This project was a great and unique experience in world-building and being able to put some more traditional Graphic Design experience to use. Each store had a distinct taste; ranging from a beat-down pub to a high-end fashion boutique. It was a great change of pace that led to some very fun designs.
